North County Audiology Joins Oticon’s Annual “Pink with a Purpose” Campaign to Support Breast Cancer Research

San Diego hearing care center commits their support by offering the limited edition Alta “Think Pink” hearing aid to help raise funds for breast cancer awareness.

September 30, 2013 (San Diego, CA) – In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, San Diego audiologist, Dr. Kenneth Podlenski of North County Audiology, http://www.NorthCountyAudiology.com, will participate in this year’s annual Oticon “Pink with a Purpose” campaign. This campaign was developed by Oticon to help raise funds for breast cancer research, and as part of the “Pink with a Purpose” program, Oticon, Inc. will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the special edition Alta Think Pink hearing aid as well as the entire Alta family to the National Breast Cancer Coalition to support breast cancer research.

“I am really happy to support this great cause and at the same time, I enjoy helping the people of the San Diego community by offering my hearing care services.” says Dr. Kenneth Podlenski.  “I am very proud to work with Oticon who has developed this great annual “Think Pink” campaign to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.”

The Alta hearing aid is a premium hearing device with highly advanced hearing aid technology that was developed and designed by Oticon. With the Alta hearing aid, you should not have to struggle to hear anymore. Many hearing aids on the market today assume that the same settings will work for everyone, but Oticon knows better. Alta is your own personal hearing aid device with individual preference settings. The powerful sound processing chip acts as a “micro-brain” and helps to deliver personalized sound right to your ears. With Alta, you will be able to differentiate important noises from background noises. Oticon Alta works smarter so you don’t have to work harder.

In addition to the special Think Pink hearing aids, Oticon Alta is available in 13 colors ranging from subtle shades that blend to complement natural skin and hair tones to more vibrant contemporary colors. Alta is suitable for people with mild to moderate hearing loss and is a great hearing aid for first-time users.

Oticon strives to make you happy which is why the Atla hearing device is made with Oticon hearing aid features like the Speech Guard E, Spatial Sound Premium, and Free Focus, helping to make this one of the most remarkable Oticon hearing aids yet. The innovative technology that allows the Alta hearing device to adjust to the specific user is exceptional. They get rid of the fatigue often associated with hearing loss problems because you don’t have to struggle to listen any more. Alta makes social events exciting again, because you can hear everyone and participate in conversation.
